PCI is seeking researchers interested in serving as volunteer editors for the upcoming Policy Journal. It would be a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publish original research, reports, and reviews. PCI seeks applications from enthusiastic researchers who can oversee and maintain the editorial direction of the journal to ensure a steady flow of engaging and thought-provoking original research publications.

Eligibility
- PCI Journal encourages Professors/Associate/Assistant Professors from different fields of Social Sciences to join the journal as an editor.
- PCI welcome applications from editors with a strong academic background and national or international recognized reputation. Applicants with significant publishing or reviewing experience will be preferred.
- To qualify for the post of an editorial board member, applicants must have a PhD degree, and a relevant experience in academic/Industry/ research and international conferences/journals.
- Candidates working in academic and research institutions should be given a preference.
- Applicants shall be considered for two positions i.e. Editor OR Senior Editor (as the case may be)’.

Role and Responsibility
In lieu of this request, the following responsibility is expected from every editorial member of the PCI Journal:
- Determine and refine scopes and topics for the journal.
- Collect and attract high-quality papers to maintain quality standard.
- Conduct peer-review for at least 2 papers a year.
- Be able to publish at least 4 issues in a year (Bi-monthly or Quarterly publication)
- The first issue is expected to be published within 4 months after becoming the editor.
- Take the final decision on the disputed manuscript.
- Circulate Call for Papers to colleagues, academics and professional connections to secure timely publication of journal issues.
- Invite editors to strengthen journal editorial board.
- Actively promote the journal to libraries and research centres for possible subscription.
- International marketing of the journals to authors, institutes/universities, conferences/seminars etc.
- Recruit reviewers for the journal to conduct peer-review of assigned manuscripts.
- Improve the quality of the peer-review process to improve the journal impact factor.
- Work to index journal in well-known indexers, databases and websites.
- Timely communicate with PCI Journals and other associate editors.
- Launch special issues for the journal highlighting the latest topics.
- Implements marketing plans, using a combination of online, print and physical channels.
- Increases the journal’s profile using websites, social media and email communications
