Vijayalaxmi is currently pursuing her Masters in Applied Psychology from Tata Institue of Social Sciences (TISS). She completed her Bachelors in Psychology from the Aryabhatta College, the University of Delhi during which worked on a research paper and dissertation and served as the Head Editor of Srijan, The psychology magazine published by the Department of Psychology. She also has experience working with NGOs in operations, content writing, and research capacity.

She is interested in how psychology interacts with and influences social phenomenon and how it can be used to develop better programs. She plans to continue working as a researcher in the future.
