Prashant has recently submitted his Ph.D. thesis titled “Reassertion of Ethno-religious Identities in Russia: – 1991-2015”, under the supervision of Dr. Preeti D. Das at Centre of Russian and Central Asian Studies, School of International Studies (SIS) Jawaharlal Nehru University. He also holds his MPhil Degree from the same center, where he wrote the dissertation on “New Religious Movements in Russia”.
His research realm spread across- India and Russia cultural and traditional relations, Diplomacy in the CIS countries, Emerging notions of Ethno-religious identities world over. He has presented papers at national and international conferences. His published research articles focused primarily on ethnoreligious identities and class-cultural diversities.
Hence, as a public policy scholar with policy change initiative, Prashant will primarily be focused on studying the differential impact of public policies on different sections of society in India.
Currently, he engaged in taking lectures on the different aspect of Russian cultures and policies at Hindu College, University of Delhi and at IGNOU as the guest lecturer and visiting faculty respectively.
