Tara Mohandas is currently doing her master’s in Economics at Symbiosis School of Economics with a specialization in Development Studies. She is currently the Vice-President and the founding member of the European Horizons chapter at Symbiosis International University. She worked for three months as a Research Assistant and Collaborator for the Survey of COVID-19 Responses to Understand Behaviour (SCRUB) supported by BehaviourWorks Australia. She just completed a research internship with the Institute of Rural Management Anand and has previously interned at the Kerala Institute of Local Administration, Thrissur.

She is drawn to research work concerning gender, education, rural development, and sustainability and hopes to work to address issues of gender inequality in the future. During her time as an intern at PCI, Tara hopes to grow and learn from her mentor Neha Yadav.
